Bewl has a 12.5 mile off-road circuit. The path runs around the beautiful waters edge for the majority of the way and it can be completed at a steady pace in between 2-4 hours.
Many families, especially those with younger children, don't complete the whole thing but they head out for 1 / 1.5 hours, relax by the water with a picnic or head out to the family pub about 5 miles out for something to eat, then return the same way.
You can buy a picnic from the LOOKOUT RESTAURANT or head to THE BULL in 3 Leg Cross.
There is only 1 small hilly section so if you want to do the whole thing then head out anti-clockwise so you get to them sooner (with fresh legs!).
