This session is taken by leaders from the Sussex Wildlife Trust and takes your group out into the forest for a walk and talk about everything nature. Each pupil carries a bag with them to collect items that interest them or catch their eye; anything from litter to leaves and everything in between! Leaders work closely with you to make sure they cover everything you are studying in the classroom to make the day as productive as possible.
The next part of the day is classroom based and focuses on creativity with your group using their collected materials to make something: a dreamcatcher with willow branches or a collage - it's your choice.
Please ensure all pupils bring a plastic bag with them but we do have spares just in case!
It is also important for them to wear appropriate clothing; wet weather gear in colder seasons and suncream and hats in the summer.
