The Dawes Discovery Twin tandem is designed for road & light trail riding. More commonly known as a hybrid. The frame is made from oversize 7005 aluminium to keep frame flex to a minimum. 26" wheels keep the centre of gravity low. They each have strong 48 hole, disc ready hubs & are fitted with Tioga Comodo tyres (semi-slicks). |
The gears are 24 speed Shimano Acera with EZ Fire trigger shifters. Comfort is a high priority so we include a suspension seatpost at the rear, super soft grips & sure grip pedals. This is our most popular tandem for hire customers because it will go just about anywhere but it is also very comfortable.
Comes with mudguards to keep your clothes clean (well that's the theory!)
